Debbie Kay Rusk

Debbie Kay (Wilson) Rusk, 68, of Coleman, Texas passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 with her family by her side at Hendrick Hospice Care. Debbie was born July 9, 1955 in Coleman, Texas to Leola (Cricket) Wisner Wilson and Paul Wilson. She graduated Coleman High School in 1973. Debbie was full of life and always on the go. Her favorite place was at the lake. Her favorite lake was at Hords Creek in Coleman, Texas. She loved cats and always had several. She loved going to the racetrack to watch her oldest son race his 1970 Challenger. She loved to sit around and listen to her youngest son play the guitar and sing. Debbie enjoyed going to casinos. She always had that dream she would hit the big one. She is survived by her son Robert Rankin and his wife Tina of Coleman; son Ronnie Turk and his wife Kristin of Oklahoma; her grandkids Ryan Rankin and fiancé Jennifer Castruita, Roxie Rankin, Kolby Turk, and Zakk Turk; great-grandkids Braydon Bates, Hudson Castruita, and Paxton Rankin; her sister Cherie Wilson Squyres and her husband Carl of Winters; nieces Ashley Villegas, Shaylee Villegas and Keylee Rumsey and her husband Cody; and great nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Billy Rusk. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
