Helena Louise Shelton, 67, of Merkel, Texas passed away at Hendrick Medical Center on Friday, February 24, 2023. She was born on March 7, 1955 in Canastota, NY to Everett and Francis (Plumly) Centner.
Helena worked at the Merkel Nursing Center for 10 years as a CNA before she retired.
Helena is survived by her sons; JR and wife Brittany Aich of Abilene, TX, Richard and wife Valeri Aich of Merkel, TX, Jason Centner of Merkel, TX, daughter; Thressa Lambert of Merkel, TX, brother; Edwin Centner of Merkel, TX and granddaughters; Tiffany Aich of Colorado Springs, CO, Crystal Aich of San Antonio, TX, Kadie Alfred of Haskell, TX, and Makenzie Hahn of Abilene, TX.
Helena is preceded in death by her parents Everett and Francis, sisters; Beverly Brady and Patricia Schuster and brothers; David Centner and Bill Centner.
