Melissa Kay Lund

Melissa Kay Lund, 42, passed away November 10, 2023. Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Wynrock Batist Church, 4340 Edgemont Drive, Abilene, TX, 79606. Melissa was born December 19, 1980, to Ernest & Nelda Keith in Abilene, TX. She was raised in Baird, Texas and graduated from Baird High School in 1999. She attended McMurry University a few years following high school, and then joined the Army to serve our country. After being stationed in Germany, she returned to the Abilene area where she met her husband of 18 years Roy J. Lund. They welcomed their beautiful daughter, Natalie in 2008. Melissa greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also loved traveling, gardening, yoga, and white tail deer hunting. Melissa is preceded in death by her parent Ernest and Nelda Keith. She is survived by her husband RJ, daughter Natalie and sister’s Jen and Sara Keith; mother-in-law, Sandra K Lund; sister-in law, Wendy Rossman and husband Mike, and nephew Wayne Rossman.
