Nicole Lynn Nash

Nicole Lynn Nash, 57, of Abilene, TX passed away on May 18, 2024, in Abilene, TX.

Nicole was born in Dallas, TX, to James F. and Nancy Jane Nash on July 15, 1966. She graduated from Benson Polytechnic High School in Portland, Oregon and later studied at the University of North Texas. She completed her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Regents and later her Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor training. She truly enjoyed working as a peer counselor at a non-profit in Dallas. Nicole dealt with mental illness most of her life. She had great compassion and understanding for others suffering from mental illness. Nicole was always very adventurous and rode her own motorcycle and completed her pilot's license by her 18th birthday. During her youth, she became proficient in piano playing and enjoyed sharing her talent and also teaching others to play. She was a loving mother and Nana. She never passed up an opportunity to give to those less fortunate than her. She found joy in making art, some of her favorites were mosaics, painting and she would bedazzle just about anything. Her animals and plants meant the world to her and she was so nurturing to any animal in need.

Nicole was preceded in death by her mother and father James and Nancy Nash.

Nicole is survived by her daughters Megan Nash Olsen, Emily Jane Ramos and Rachel Nicole Olsen; her grandchildren, Cayson, Olivia, Lakon and Braylon; Aunts Georgia and Rebecca; Sister and brother Rose and Michael as well as multiple cousins and many people she made feel like family.

A Memorial Service will be held at Studio V+V at 15570 SPECTRUM DRIVE, Addison, TX 75001
Friday June 14th from 6-8pm. Cremation Services are under the direction of West Central Texas Cremation, Abilene.
