Spencer Lee King

August 16, 1973 — November 1, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Spencer King, who left this world on November 1, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 50. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and the impact he had on those who knew him. Born on August 16, 1973, Spencer was the beloved son of Martha (Pacheco) and Gene King, both of whom he joins in eternal rest. Spencer leaves behind an estranged wife, six daughters, three grandchildren, a sister and brother, and many others he called family and friends. His mother, who was his rock, guided him over the years as he raised his family. He was a devoted father to his daughters, offering them love, support, and life lessons that will forever guide them. Spencer had a big heart and would help anyone in need. In addition to his strong belief in family, he was known for his love of animals and cars. He enjoyed hanging with friends, sharing stories and laughing. He had a passion for tinkering with his cars, often installing souped up sound systems. He found happiness in his jobs as a lawn mower and a greeter at bars in the city. A private memorial service will be held at Beltway Park Church South on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM, to celebrate Spencer’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to All Kind Animal Initiative in his memory https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/Lw59EHXUFw0odVM9sjhXDg. Spencer may have left this world, but his spirit will forever remain in the lives of his family and friends, a testament to the enduring power of love and the human spirit.
