Steve Dee Faglie

Steve "Stevie Dee" passed away at 5:35 a.m. on Sept. 27, 2023 at Hendrick Hospice Care facility in Abilene. He was born Dec. 20, 1965 and was raised at Hendrick's Home for Children. He graduated from Cooper High in 1984. Steve opened ABI Taxi in 2009 and through his business, made a lot of friends in the Abilene area. Steve loved his family most of all. Steve was a fun, loving, and caring guy and would give the shirt off his back if you needed help until his health wouldn't let him. He fought his kidney disease for over 28 years until he couldn't fight no more. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Troy Dee Faglie and all his uncles. He is survived by his brothers, Todd (Maggie & Mattie) of Corpus Christi, Brent (Sharon) of Merkel, Neal (Cecille) of Roby, Robert Wolfe of Garland, and sister Melanie of Abilene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; numerous aunts and cousins. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to West Central Texas Cremation.
