Stewart Keith Martin, aged 69, passed away on October 18, 2024, in Aspermont, Texas. Born on July 19, 1955, Stewart was known for his vibrant personality, marked by a deep love for his family and friends, a passion for cooking, and a zest for travel.
Stewart graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1973 and spent much of his career on the road, driving freight and materials for the Oil and Gas industries in Texas. His work reflected his adventurous spirit and love for new experiences.
He was a man of many interests, including cooking, trying new foods, and enjoying country music. Stewart also had a fondness for old westerns and was an active member of the Ft. Worth DeMolay Chapter, demonstrating his commitment to community and tradition. Stewart is survived by his wife, Marta Flores Martin; his sister and brother-in-law, Wendy Martin and William Youngs; his niece and nephew, Jason Huggett and Sara McRae; his grandchildren, Austin Conner and Annaleese Fidler; and his great-granddaughter, Addison Conner. His daughter, Elizabeth Fidler, also survives him. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Margaret Martin, and his first wife, Ramona Martin.
Stewart's life was a testament to his loving nature and his ability to bring joy to those around him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
