William Benton Tucker

William Benton Tucker, a proud U.S. Marine and Vietnam veteran, passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 67. Born in the winter of 1958 to the late Bertha Eva Jackson, William carried his mother's strength throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister Eva Daniels.

Those who knew William understood that beneath his famously gruff exterior beat a heart of quiet generosity. A man of few words but steadfast loyalty, he expressed care through actions rather than sentiment - whether through his military service, his protective nature toward family, or the unexpected moments of kindness he showed those in need. He would even wake you up at 2am to make sure you had food or coffee. His stubbornness was legendary, but so was his willingness to help when it truly mattered.

He leaves behind his son, William Vincent Tucker who carries on his father's resilient spirit; his brothers Jimmy Hewlett and Ricky Daniels (brother-in-law); his niece Cheyenne Daniels-Ramirez; and nephews Ricky Joe Daniels Jr. and Timothy
